Summary: The Data Engineer role involves working on Talend and Oracle RDS systems within the AEOI programme, focusing on ETL tooling and database management. Candidates must hold active SC clearance and have experience with data ETL products, preferably Talend. The position requires a strong understanding of Oracle RDS databases and may involve working on various AEOI projects. The role is based in Telford and requires two days of onsite work per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using Talend and Oracle RDS systems.
  • Support the expansion of teams within the AEOI programme.
  • Collaborate on various AEOI projects including Pillar R7/ETR Exchange and CRS Outbound Exchange.
  • Utilize SQL and AWS GenAI as needed.

Key Skills:

  • Active SC clearance.
  • Experience with data ETL products, preferably Talend.
  • Proficiency in Oracle RDS databases.
  • Familiarity with SQL and AWS GenAI is a plus.
  • Experience with ETL tooling such as Pentaho or Informatica is transferable.

description: £414 Clearance Required: SC - Candidates must hold Active SC Duration: 6 months Location: Telford 2 days onsite Project - AEOI Projects - Pillar R7/ETR Exchange/NTJ Exchange/CRS Outbound Exchange Demand in the AEOI programme space is expected to increase necessitating the stand-up of an additional team and the expansion of existing teams to support. This developer role will be primarily working on Talend and Oracle RDS systems, within our existing Talend framework and patterns. Experience of ETL tooling will be needed, preferably Talend but Pentaho/Informatica experience will be transferable. Experience working in Oracle RDS databases will also be required. Must Have SC clearance Data ETL product experience - Talend preferred Oracle RDS Nice to have: SQL AWS GenAI
