Location: Mostly remote - Telford, 2 days per month in the office

Day Rate: £487/day, Inside IR35

Duration: 6 months

Clearance: SC required (you can start on BPSS)

Responsibilities

• Develop project artefacts including Talend jobs, Oracle DDL and SQL, and GitLab pipeline enhancements
• Investigate and resolve defects and issues raised during testing
• Review colleagues' development and test artefacts
• Support production promotion and warranty support
• Run component testing of developed artefacts, including test data creation
• Support QAs in testing phases and debug issues throughout the development lifecycle
• Create and run test packs for component test automation
• Support the performance testing phase
• Support and guide colleagues and mentor junior engineers
• Report to the lead engineer and take part in scrum-of-scrums discussions

Required skills

• Data ETL product experience, Talend preferred
• Oracle RDS

This role requires SC clearance. The additional vetting may take longer than a standard onboarding process, so you can start on BPSS in the meantime.
