DATA ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIESWe are looking for a Data Engineer on a short-term contract to support one of our clients. Key Responsibilities:Designing, building, and maintaining data transformation pipelinesCollaborating with data analysts and ML engineers to meet data requirements.Monitoring the performance of data pipelines and resolving any issues that arise.Gathering and analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.Developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support business decisions.Analyse and evaluate the quality of processing data and resultsDATA ENGINEER REQUIREMENTSStrong data engineering skills: ETL processing, Reporting and Data ModellingHands-on experience in SQL Server and Azure CloudStrong in Data Visualization Tools: Power BIPreferable to have skills in:Data Factory and Azure services (EventHub, Cloud Functions).Experience in Azure Databricks (Spark)Proficiency in data analysis, such as SQL, Excel, Power BI.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication and presentation skills to share findings in an understandable and actionable manner.
