Summary: The role of Data Engineer involves supporting the development of a modern data platform on Microsoft Fabric for a leading London-based organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable data solutions end to end in a greenfield Fabric environment.
- Collaborate closely with technical and business teams to shape a robust data platform.
- Deliver production-grade data pipelines and Lakehouse/Warehouse solutions in Microsoft Fabric.
- Contribute to platform standards and strategy, focusing on performance and governance.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data pipelines and Lakehouse/Warehouse solutions.
- Solid background in data modelling and architecture (Star Schema, Data Vault, Medallion).
- Hands-on expertise with PySpark, Spark SQL, CI/CD, and Git.
- Experience with Power BI semantic models and exposure to Purview and D365 Finance & Operations data.

We're partnering with a leading London-based organisation that's building a modern, enterprise-wide data platform on Microsoft Fabric and is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support its delivery.
This is a hands-on role within a greenfield Fabric environment, working across finance, operations, and strategic decision-making. You'll design and build scalable data solutions end to end, collaborating closely with technical and business teams to shape a robust, future-ready platform.
The role requires onsite attendance at the client's London office three days per week.
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience delivering production-grade data pipelines and Lakehouse/Warehouse solutions in Microsoft Fabric
- Solid background in data modelling and architecture (Star Schema, Data Vault, Medallion), with a focus on performance and governance
- Hands-on expertise with PySpark, Spark SQL, CI/CD, Git, and working closely with BI teams on Power BI semantic models
- Experience contributing to platform standards and strategy; exposure to Purview and D365 Finance & Operations data is beneficial
