Contract Data Engineer | £400–£450/day | UK | Hybrid
I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Data Engineer to join an AI & Data team working on a large-scale Public Safety project.
Locations: London, Newcastle, Glasgow or Manchester
Rate: £400–£550/day
Contract: Until October 2027
SC clearance preferred — SC eligible candidates may also be considered
Key skills: Data Engineering / ETL Java AWS Apache Kafka Kubernetes Big Data / data pipelines Data quality and optimisation
You’ll be responsible for designing and developing data solutions, building and optimising pipelines, supporting data migration and processing, and working across multiple technical teams.
There’s also an element of technical leadership and mentoring , so experience operating as a subject matter expert would be valuable.
If you're a Data Engineer with strong AWS, Kafka and Java experience and you're open to a long-term contract, I'd be keen to speak.
