- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are upheld across all solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues and performance bottlenecks.

- SAS 9.4 (DI), SAS Viya 3.x (SAS Studio, VA, VI).
- Platform LSF, Jira, Platform Support.
- GIT.
- Strong expertise in ETL tools: Pentaho, Talend.
- Experience with data virtualization using Denodo.
- Proficiency in SAS for data analytics and reporting.
- Oracle (good to have).
- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.

Job Description: As part of this expansion, we are seeking a Software Data Engineer to support expansion of the 2 Scrum Teams Live Support and Data Acquisition Team. These teams play a critical role in running the Minerva Platform and the ingesting and integrating data from a wide variety of OUR CLIENT data sources into the Minerva Platform. The data ingested supports high-impact programmes of work such as Making Tax Digital (MTD) and Income Tax Self-Assessment (ITSA), as well as new initiatives like Agent Registration Risking. This role is pivotal in ensuring the platform continues to evolve as a robust, scalable, and secure data environment that underpins OUR CLIENT’s strategic decision-making and risk analysis capabilities.
