Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in building and maintaining cutting-edge data systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing robust data pipelines, sophisticated data warehouses, and innovative MLOps solutions that ensure our data is accurate, accessible, and secure. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on technical challenges, continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. You will be at the forefront of enabling data-driven decision-making and supporting the deployment of advanced machine learning models.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain resilient data architectures and pipelines, ensuring the transfer and processing of durable, complete, and consistent data.
• Design and implement scalable data warehouses and data lakes, managing appropriate data volumes and velocity while adhering to stringent security measures.
• Develop sophisticated processing and analysis algorithms tailored to the complexity and volumes of our data.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists to seamlessly integrate, build, and deploy machine learning models into production environments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within data engineering processes, ensuring efficiency and excellence in all deliverables.
• Act as a technical advisor within your area of expertise, sharing knowledge and guiding team members where appropriate.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in the implementation of data pipelines, data warehouses, and MLOps solutions.
• Deep expertise within the AWS Cloud environment and its comprehensive suite of services for data.
• Strong proficiency with leading data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks, preferably in a hybrid cloud setting.
• A solid understanding of data architecture principles, data security best practices, and efficient data processing algorithms.
• Familiarity with the Python programming language for data processing and analysis.
• Knowledge of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) principles and tools.
