Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust, efficient, secure, and reliable data pipelines using Azure technologies.
- Build data pipelines that clean, transform, and present data from disparate sources.
- Design, build, test, automate, and maintain architectures and processing workflows for analytics and business intelligence systems.
- Plan, develop, and evaluate methods for gathering, extracting, transforming, and cleaning data.
- Undertake development of the data warehouse, including design, technical development, and documentation.
- Monitor data to identify patterns indicative of potential fraud.
- Support the design of analytical services, products, and models that meet NHSCFA needs.
Key Skills:
- Practical application expertise in managing data engineering projects and processes.
- Strong skills in programming languages such as SQL, Python, Spark, and R.
- Experience with Azure tech stack including Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and modelling concepts.
- Experience in building secure and accurate ETL processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve numerical and technical problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Master's degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
