Summary: As a Data Engineer at a leading financial services organization, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing a modern data platform that enhances core clearing operations and supports advanced analytics and regulatory reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver a scalable data platform for core clearing operations and analytics.
- Own end-to-end data solutions and contribute to the enterprise-wide data strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data platform meets business needs.
- Implement modern data engineering tools and practices.
- Ensure compliance with financial services regulatory frameworks.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years' experience in data engineering or software engineering within financial services or a regulated environment.
- Proven experience delivering production-grade data platforms.
- Strong hands-on capability with Python, SQL, Airflow, Spark, Kafka, dbt, Snowflake.
- Experience with Back End technologies (e.g., Java/Spring Boot).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native data architectures.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
- Exposure to financial services regulatory frameworks such as EMIR, MiFID II, GDPR, PFMI, or similar.

What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years' experience in data engineering or software engineering within financial services or a similarly regulated environment
- Proven experience delivering at least one production-grade data platform
- Strong hands-on capability with modern data engineering tools such as Python, SQL, Airflow, Spark, Kafka, dbt, Snowflake (Essential)
- Experience with Back End technologies (eg Java/Spring Boot)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native data architectures
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation
