Summary: The Data Developer AI/ML role is a contract position based in Manchester, UK, focused on enhancing a waste prediction tool through machine learning and data analytics. Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and expand an existing waste prediction tool using Machine Learning and data analytics to progress it to Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6/7.
- Develop a comprehensive functional specification for a Materials Data Bank (MDB) - a digital resource to optimise material selection while minimising waste.
- Design and implement APIs to seamlessly integrate the waste prediction tool with BIM platforms and other digital systems.
- Conduct a full review of data sources related to waste generation and identify opportunities for predictive modelling.
- Collaborate with academic and industry partners, including universities and real-world demonstrators.
- Contribute to research publications, conference presentations, and technical documentation.
