Job Advert: Assistant Sourcing Manager/Data Cleansing Administrator
Location: Edinburgh (preferred), with options for Halifax, Bristol, or Birmingham - Hybrid with 2 days per week onsite
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (3 months)
Rate: £440 per day (Umbrella) or annual salary of £43,803 - £64,500
Role Summary
In this hands-on operational role, successful candidates will be responsible for reviewing, correcting, and completing supplier onboarding records within SAP Ariba.
The aim? To improve the quality and completeness of data that is essential for effective sourcing and supplier management.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Review & Remediation: Validate and remediate supplier onboarding records within SAP Ariba to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to resolve data quality issues, ensuring complete and precise records.
- Progress Tracking: Maintain accurate tracking of remediation progress, escalating risks and issues as necessary.
- Process Improvement: Identify recurring data quality issues and recommend opportunities for enhancement to the data management processes.
Essential Skills and Experience
- SAP Ariba Navigation: Familiarity with SAP Ariba or the ability to swiftly adapt to new systems.
- Data Management: Experience working with supplier or operational records, demonstrating a commitment to data quality.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot inaccuracies or inconsistencies in data.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking to investigate and resolve data discrepancies.
- Stakeholder Management: Confidence in engaging with stakeholders to gather missing information and drive activities to completion.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidates will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing workloads independently.
A background in procurement is not required, but a strong understanding of data quality principles and stakeholder engagement is essential.
