We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Delivery Lead with SC clearance (Active or Eligible) to lead and coordinate a large-scale Data Centre Consolidation Programme. In this role, you'll review and validate complete Data Centre inventories, coordinate technical workstreams across Data Centre, Network, Infrastructure, and Supplier teams, and manage delivery while ensuring risks, dependencies, and service impacts are effectively controlled.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Data Centre consolidation activities, developing and maintaining detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Coordinate the review and validation of Data Centre inventory, assets, and dependencies, working with technical teams to understand infrastructure, applications, services, and network connectivity
- Support planning and execution of consolidation, migration, and resilience improvement activities, tracking risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and change requests
- Coordinate technical changes that may impact service resilience, redundancy, or availability, ensuring activities are properly assessed, documented, approved, and communicated
- Produce executive-level progress reports and dashboards, engaging with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and technical teams to ensure alignment, accountability, and proactive escalation of delivery risks
What You Will Ideally Bring
- SC cleared or SC eligible, essential for this role
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or Programme Delivery Manager, with strong experience delivering Data Centre consolidation, migration, relocation, or infrastructure transformation projects
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple technical and supplier teams simultaneously, with excellent planning, scheduling, and resource coordination skills
- Strong project governance, RAID management, and reporting experience
- Own vehicle required, with willingness to travel at short notice to Warwick, Corsham, Farnborough, and Reading
- Desirable, a strong grasp of both IT infrastructure (compute, storage, network) and facilities management (power, cooling, building management)

- Day Rate: Negotiable
- Determination: Inside IR35
- Location: Hybrid, 3 days mandatory onsite (primary Wokingham), plus travel to Warwick, Corsham, Farnborough, and Reading at short notice on remaining days
