Summary: The Programme Manager for Data Centre Migration and Exit will lead a high-profile project focused on the planning and execution of technology migration and integration activities. This role requires collaboration with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure a seamless transition from legacy infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and experience in managing complex IT landscapes, particularly within the banking sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology migration and decommissioning workstreams.
- Manage the build and integration of new technology platforms (on-prem and cloud).
- Coordinate with multiple technical and business teams to deliver against tight timescales.
- Drive progress across a complex set of interdependencies and ensure alignment with programme objectives.
- Own delivery plans, RAID logs, governance, and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, security, and operational standards.
- Collaborate closely with third parties and internal banking functions.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience delivering large-scale data centre exit or migration programmes.
- Strong understanding of technology infrastructure, including cloud (AWS) and physical environments (servers, storage, network).
- Ability to manage and integrate across complex IT landscapes and legacy platforms.
- Banking or financial services experience is essential.
- Prior exposure in mid-tier banking environments is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, regulated environments.
- Excellent communication, planning, and risk management skills.
