Summary: The DC Network Engineer role at Adroit People involves providing on-site support for network equipment and infrastructure in data centers and office environments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site support for network equipment, servers, and related infrastructure in data centers and office environments.
  • Perform physical tasks such as cabling, racking, stacking, and replacing hardware components.
  • Assist in network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues, hardware failures, and configuration support under remote guidance.
  • Execute smart hands activities, including power cycling, patching, and device resets as per instructions from NOC or engineering teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of activities, incidents, and changes performed on-site.
  • Coordinate with remote network operations teams to resolve escalated issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with customer security and operational standards during all activities.

Key Skills:

  • 2–4 years of experience in network operations and support or data center environments.
  • Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
  • Hands-on experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and cabling standards.
  • Ability to work independently and follow detailed technical instructions from remote teams.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow and ITIL processes is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Preferred Certifications: CCNA or equivalent networking certification.
