Summary: The Data Center Network Engineer will play a crucial role in a large migration project for a global bank, transitioning from Legacy Cisco to Arista network technology. The position requires expertise in both Cisco and Arista systems, with responsibilities including the design and implementation of scalable network architectures. The role is primarily remote, with one day on-site required each week in London or North West England. Weekend work may be necessary during migration phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust and scalable datacenter network architectures using Cisco and Arista solutions.
• Configure Layer 2/3 networking protocols, VLANs, STP, VxLAN, BGP, OSPF, and EVPN.
• Perform day-to-day network administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting in datacenter environments.
• Work on a large migration project, transitioning from Legacy Cisco to Arista network technology.
• Collaborate in multi-vendor environments, spanning both Cisco and Arista technologies.
