Our client is a world leading IT infrastructure installation business with a long standing presence at Heathrow Airport. As key partners to the Airport authority they are playing a vital role in the development of the airport s infrastructure.We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager to oversee a dedicated team of experienced data cabling engineers to undertake this work which will be extensive and varied.Specific tasks will include data cabling for IT devices, information boards, baggage handling systems, CCTV, copper, Access Control and both internal and external fibre links.However, additional work arises regularly which the team will be expected to manage as required.The role will comprise 80% hands-on supervision of works and approximately 20% office based maintaining records, updating plans and managing daily health and safety duties.What You NeedYou will have at least 5 years experience of installing, terminating and testing copper data cabling.Proven experience of leading a team is essential. a minimum of 3 years supervising or managingPrevious airport work is highly preferred SSSTS or SMSTS as well as ECS and IPAF are essentialPrevious airport experience is highly beneficial.
