Summary: The Data Cable Engineer/Specialist role involves working with a leading Building Services Contractor in the Fit Out and Data Centre sector across the UK. The position requires candidates to be based in the Cumbria/Lancashire area and to have experience with CAT 6A/6B cabling. Key Responsibilities:
- Install and terminate CAT 6A/6B data cabling.
- Work on large projects for prestigious supermarket chains.
- Be flexible with day and night shifts.
- Travel away from home as required.
- Maintain up-to-date ECS Cabling/Jointing certification.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Cable Engineer/Specialist.
- Up-to-date ECS Cabling/Jointing card.
- Right to work documents in date if applicable.
- IPAF certification (nice to have).
- Ability to interview immediately.

Romans Recruitment Group (RRG) are partnering with a leading Building Services Contractor who specialise in the Fit Out and Data Centre sector across the whole of the UK.
Our client requires a Data Cable Engineer/Specialist who lives in the Cumbria/Lancashire area, who will be easily accessible to their Head Office in L40 but is willing to work away from home.
The ideal applicant must have experience of working on large prestigious supermarket chain projects as well and be confident with all aspects of the role with CAT 6A/6B and terminating and be willing to do be flexible between day and night shifts.
