Summary: The role of Data Business Analyst focuses on supporting a critical programme within a prominent Healthcare Insurer. The position requires expertise in data analysis and documentation, particularly in large-scale data programmes. The candidate will work in a hybrid model, spending two days a week on-site in London. This is a temporary position expected to last between 3 to 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work as a Data Business Analyst within large, complex organisations, preferably in Healthcare or Insurance.
  • Engage in large-scale Data programmes.
  • Analyse and document business processes to gather and define requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and Data models.
  • Utilise knowledge of structured, unstructured, and MetaData.
  • Work with Data pipelines for cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS, Snowflake).
  • Understand medallion architecture (Gold, Silver, Bronze).
  • Create Data requirements for Data Engineers/Data Scientists.
  • Use Data Analysis tools such as SQL, Python, and R, and write simple SQL scripts.
  • Understand LLM and differentiate between functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Manage communication and stakeholder relationships effectively.

Key Skills:

  • Proven commercial experience as a Data Business Analyst.
  • Experience with large-scale Data programmes.
  • Ability to analyse and document business processes.
  • Proficiency in developing project documentation.
  • Knowledge of structured, unstructured, and MetaData.
  • Familiarity with cloud Data pipelines.
  • Understanding of medallion architecture.
  • Experience creating Data requirements.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R.

My client is an instantly recognisable Healthcare Insurer who urgently require a Data Business Analyst to join a business-critical programme.

  • Proven commercial experience working as a Data Business Analyst within large, complex organisations (Healthcare/Insurance preferred).
  • Experience working on large-scale Data programmes.
  • The ability to analyse and document business processes to gather and define requirements.
  • The ability to develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and Data models.
  • Working knowledge of structured, unstructured and MetaData.
  • Familiarity with Data pipelines for cloud environments (Azure, GCP, AWS, Snowflake).
