Summary: Atrium is seeking a skilled data business analyst for a contract role with a leading financial services organization in Northampton. The ideal candidate must possess recent experience in financial services and be able to commute to the site, which requires on-site presence two days a week. The contract is initially for six months, with potential extensions. Key responsibilities include understanding financial products, performing data manipulation, and effective communication across business areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and document requirements across all business areas.
- Perform test cases and update progress for business users.
- Handle and manipulate large data sets using Hypercube and MS Excel.
- Utilize knowledge of financial products, including Fixed Income securities and derivatives.
- Communicate effectively to gather and document business needs.
Key Skills:
- Recent experience in financial services.
- Good knowledge of financial products and their life cycle.
- Strong understanding of Counterparty Credit risk metrics.
- Proficiency in MS SQL and advanced database functions.
- Ability to review code and make changes in GIT.
Salary (Rate): £400 per day

Main Skill Set Required:
Good knowledge of financial products such as Fixed Income securities, OTC and exchange traded derivatives and its life cycle
Strong understanding of securitize products and end of day "Greeks" risk measures would be prefer
Good understanding of Counterparty Credit risk metrics and risk mitigants.
Effective communication across all business areas to understand and document requirements.
Ability to perform test cases to share with business users and update progress.
Able to handle and manipulate large data sets via Hypercube and MS Excel
Essential IT Skills:
Good understanding of MS SQL
Ability to perform advance database functions 1.e, ability to query databases, create functions/procedures
Understanding of review code and make changed if required to GIT.
