Summary: We are seeking a Data Business Analyst for a 3-4 month engagement focused on the Single Customer View (SCV) platform in Central Manchester. The role involves bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful adoption and integration of the SCV data platform. The analyst will identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and recommend actionable insights aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct gap analysis across departments, assessing current systems, processes, and data flows to identify opportunities, risks, and dependencies.
  • Work with stakeholders to define requirements and demonstrate how SCV data can support business objectives.
  • Translate complex data opportunities into clear, actionable insights and business recommendations.
  • Identify and recommend KPIs to measure impact, including how SCV data should be used to generate them.
  • Propose activation tactics that demonstrate how data can drive outcomes (e.g. personalised communications, customer experience improvements, operational efficiency gains).
  • Produce a structured findings report by business function, highlighting opportunities, required data points, and measurable impacts.

  • Strong experience in gap analysis and identifying opportunities for data-driven improvement.
  • Proven ability to derive business value from customer data, aligning insights to organisational goals.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, engaging across Marketing, Customer Experience, Commercial, Operations, and other functions.

Data Business Analyst – Single Customer View (SCV) Platform 3-4 Month Engagement Central Manchester: 3 times per week in the office IR35 Determination (TBC) Day Rates: Up to £550 per day (DOE and IR35 determination)

The role will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that data is aligned to organisational goals, relevant KPIs are selected, and actionable tactics are identified to unlock measurable value.
