Summary: Synapri is seeking three Data-focused Business Analysts for an Outside IR35 contract with an industry-leading consultancy. The role involves working closely with stakeholders and technical teams on data implementation projects, requiring a background in policing or justice. Candidates must possess SC Clearance and be prepared for occasional travel to London. The initial contract is for three months, with the potential for extension over a year-long project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with end users, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and validate outcomes.
- Data analysis and interpretation of complex structures to support successful data migration projects.
- Design, document, and deliver data mapping specifications aligned to business and technical requirements.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout the migration process.
- Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for process improvement during data migration activities.
- Produce clear documentation and reporting to support project governance and audit requirements.
- Experience in system integration and large-scale transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of information governance, data security, and compliance requirements within the public sector.
- Design, document, and deliver data mapping specifications aligned to business and technical requirements.
Key Skills:

Synapri are working with an industry-leading consultancy to hire 3 Data-focused Business Analysts on an Outside IR35 contract. This role will require some travel to London, likely once a week at most.
The client is keen to see people with a policing or justice background who are used to dealing with high-pressure and high-status stakeholders with deep knowledge of data implementation projects.
The requirements for this role are to:
- Work closely with end users, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and validate outcomes.
- Data analysis and interpretation of complex structures to support successful data migration projects.
- Design, document, and deliver data mapping specifications aligned to business and technical requirements.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout the migration process.
- Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for process improvement during data migration activities.
- Produce clear documentation and reporting to support project governance and audit requirements.
- Experience in system integration and large-scale transformation programmes.

This contract will run for an initial 3-month period with scope for extension, the whole scheme of work is likely to last over 12 months.
