Data Business Analyst

Summary: The role of Data Business Analyst involves supporting a large-scale Data and cloud transformation programme for a client. The position requires a strong focus on data analysis and stakeholder management, with a hybrid working arrangement of two days onsite per week. The contract is set to last until the end of 2026 and is classified as inside IR35. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support a large-scale Data & cloud transformation programme.
• Conduct business analysis with a strong focus on data requirements and use cases.
• Translate business needs into effective data solutions.
• Manage data migration processes including quality, lineage, and validation.
• Utilize cloud data platforms, specifically AWS.
• Engage in stakeholder management and data governance.
• Participate in Agile methodologies and manage Jira backlogs.
• Provide exposure to data modelling and regulatory environments.

Key Skills:

• 5+ years of professional experience in business analysis roles.
• Strong data-focused business analysis experience.
• Expertise in data requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria (Jira).
• Ability to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Knowledge of data migration processes.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS).
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Data modelling exposure.
• Agile and Jira backlog management experience.
• Understanding of data governance and regulatory environments.

Salary (Rate): £400 daily
