Summary: The role of Business Analyst - Data Analyst involves supporting ongoing Service Management projects for a large corporate client in Glasgow. The position requires strong data analysis skills and experience with ServiceNow, focusing on data alignment and collaboration with technical and business stakeholders. The work arrangement is hybrid, with a minimum of three days required on-site in Glasgow. The contract duration is 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support ongoing Service Management projects through data analysis and systems alignment.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders across the organization.
  • Utilize SQL/RDBMS to query, interpret, and analyze relational data.
  • Work with ServiceNow, specifically with CMDB/AMDB models.
  • Analyze data flows, discrepancies, and integration across complex systems.
  • Manage IT Asset Management within enterprise-scale Data Centre or IT Infrastructure environments.

Key Skills:

  • Business Analysis background in data-focused BA roles.
  • Strong skills in SQL/RDBMS.
  • ServiceNow experience with CMDB/AMDB models.
  • Knowledge and experience in Data Architecture & Lineage.
  • IT Asset Management experience in enterprise environments.
  • ITIL knowledge or certification (desirable).
  • Familiarity with Agile or programme management methodologies (desirable).
  • Exposure to data visualization or analytic tools (desirable).
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Clear, confident communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work closely with teams and stakeholders across global locations.
  • Self-motivation, accountability, and adaptability in a changing environment.

Salary (Rate): £440 per day

I am working with a large corporate client in Glasgow who are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong Data Analysis skills to support ongoing Service Management projects.

This role will focus on data analysis, systems alignment, and supporting enterprise IT functions, working closely with technical and business stakeholders across the business
