Summary: The Data Architect role focuses on supporting a key transformation programme through the application of Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks, with an emphasis on data governance. The position requires experienced professionals who can provide expert advice, shape data strategy, and support engineering teams with best practices. The role is hybrid, ideally requiring three days on-site per week in either Bournemouth or Guildford. This is a 6-month contract opportunity paying between £425 and £475 per day, classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on modern data capabilities leveraging ADF, Databricks, and emerging industry trends.
- Shape data strategy and architectural direction.
- Support engineering teams with best practices, design standards, and governance frameworks.
- Potential hands-on contribution to accelerate delivery.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).

- Some hands-on capability is desirable
