Summary: The role of Data Architect involves leading the data strategy and architecture for a global corporation based in Dubai, with a focus on cloud-native solutions and data governance. This position requires a proven track record in data architecture and the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders to align data initiatives with business objectives. The role includes a unique travel arrangement, allowing professionals to work in Dubai while maintaining a presence in the UK. This contract position is classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the organisation’s data strategy, ensuring data is treated as a core business asset.
  • Shape and deliver enterprise data architecture frameworks and governance.
  • Design scalable platforms across Azure / hybrid environments.
  • Lead initiatives in data integration, MDM, metadata, and advanced analytics.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to align data strategy with business outcomes.
  • Champion compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory standards.

Key Skills:

  • Proven track record as a Data Architect (Solution Architect level) with strong data strategy leadership.
  • Expertise in cloud-native architectures and data warehousing / big data.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM, Zero Trust, and modern security frameworks.
  • Experience developing data roadmaps, governance models, and operating frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to travel monthly to Dubai over a 12 month period (2 weeks Dubai, 2 weeks remote cycle).

Salary (Rate): £600.00 daily

We’re looking for an experienced Data Architect (Solution Architect level) to join a global corporation based in Dubai on a contract basis outside IR35 . This is a rare opportunity for UK professionals to take their career international, driving enterprise wide data strategy and architecture in one of the world’s most dynamic business hubs.

Key requirements:

  • Proven track record as a Data Architect (Solution Architect level) with strong data strategy leadership.
  • Expertise in cloud-native architectures and data warehousing / big data.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM, Zero Trust, and modern security frameworks.
  • Experience developing data roadmaps, governance models, and operating frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to travel monthly to Dubai over a 12 month period (2 weeks Dubai, 2 weeks remote cycle)
  • Travel, accommodation and subsistence covered through expenses

What you’ll do:
