Summary: The role of Data Architect involves designing and implementing end-to-end data solutions on the Azure platform for a Microsoft Partner Consultancy. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement data architecture solutions leveraging Azure Data Services.
  • Define data models, integration patterns, and governance frameworks aligned with best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to assess business needs and translate them into technical designs.
  • Lead architecture reviews, ensure scalability, security, and cost optimization across data platforms.
  • Guide and mentor data engineers and developers through design and implementation phases.
  • Contribute to data strategy, roadmap planning, and architectural standards for client projects.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and governance regulations.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, ideally within a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Strong technical expertise across the Azure data ecosystem, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL DB, Data Lake, Databricks, and Power BI.
  • Experience designing data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling, metadata management, and data governance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud security principles, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, high-performing team passionate about innovation, data strategy, and excellence in delivery. We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design and implement end-to-end data solutions on the Azure platform.
