Job Title: Data Architect / Data Analyst

Rate: £49.06 per hour (Umbrella)

Clearance: BPSS

Location:Huntingdon (Hybrid - typically 1-2 days remote, 3 days onsite)

Please note: the successful candidate will work closely with the Hiring Manager to determine site attendance on a weekly basis depending on workshop locations.

Overview

Our client is seeking a Data Architect / Data Analyst to join their As-Is Mapping Team, supporting a key Asset Management programme within the utilities sector.

This role will play a critical part in documenting and analysing current-state processes across both SAP and non-SAP systems, helping to shape future business requirements and system design.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive 'As-Is' view of Asset Management processes
• Facilitate and support workshops with business stakeholders
• Capture and document:
• Data objects used across processes
• End-to-end CRUD cycles
• Process flows and dependencies
• Identify pain points and inefficiencies in current operations
• Produce an evidence pack to support High-Level Design (HLD)
• Define system-agnostic business requirements

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Data Architecture and/or Data Analysis
• Proven background in Asset Management, ideally within the water/utilities sector
• Experience working with SAP and non-SAP environments
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to clearly document processes, data flows, and requirements
• Experience capturing data lifecycles (CRUD) across complex systems

• Experience contributing to large-scale transformation programmes
• Able to translate business processes into structured data and requirements
