Summary: The Data and Reporting Specialist role involves managing and improving data processes within the Operational Asset Management (OAM) Programme, which aims to enhance operational efficiency in the Water and Waste sectors. The position requires hands-on development of reporting and analytical products while collaborating with various teams and stakeholders. The role is hybrid, requiring occasional office visits in Worthing, West Sussex.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage data improvements defined within the OAM Programme goals.
• Deliver reporting and data analytical products aligned with OAM Programme goals.
• Take a hands-on role in developing new reporting and analytics products as needed.
• Oversee the day-to-day management of agreed data improvements.
• Collaborate with relevant teams and the OAM team to develop overall Programme plans and deliverables.
• Assist with data migration between platforms, including preparation and validation of data.
• Develop a pragmatic reporting approach in line with operational performance improvement goals.
• Coordinate the development of new reporting and data analytical products.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in data improvement and management projects.
• Experience in developing reporting and data analytical products.
• Knowledge of reporting/analytics platforms such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, and Alteryx.
• Hands-on experience with data migration and ETL toolkits.
• Significant SQL experience.
• Excellent writing and editing skills for diverse audiences.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on timelines and deliverables.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder interaction.
