Summary: The Data Analytics Internal Auditor will join a leading UK financial services organization on a 12-month contract, focusing on delivering data-driven internal audits and enhancing audit analytics capabilities. The role involves collaborating with audit teams and senior stakeholders to develop analytical solutions that provide actionable insights across key risk areas. The successful candidate will design and maintain Alteryx workflows and Power BI dashboards to support audit initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain advanced Alteryx workflows for audit analytics, data transformation and analysis
- Develop and deliver Power BI dashboards, including data modelling and DAX calculations, to support audit planning and execution
- Partner with Internal Audit stakeholders to translate audit requirements into effective analytical solutions
- Support multiple audit initiatives concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data analytics capability within the Internal Audit function
Key Skills:
- Advanced expertise in Alteryx Designer (workflow design, data transformation and analysis)
- Advanced Microsoft Power BI experience, including data modelling and DAX
- Proven experience working within Internal Audit in financial services
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at varying levels
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
