Key Responsibilities:
- Structure initiatives and product deliveries into coherent plans.
- Collaborate with the Data and Analytics team, business stakeholders, and IT colleagues.
- Ensure successful delivery of high-quality products.
- Manage dependencies and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
- Lead the team in managing workloads and deliveries.
- Drive the use of AI and intelligent automation in decision-making.
Key Skills:
- Proven skills in product and programme delivery.
- Experience in Data and Analytics, Digital, or IT functions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders and technical teams.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in JIRA/Confluence, Azure DevOps, and PowerBI.

We are looking for an experienced Data and Analytics Delivery Manager to join our growing team of Data and Analytics professionals at Southern Water. The role will involve structuring our initiatives and product deliveries into coherent product and programme plans, working with the D & A team, line of business stakeholders and IT colleagues to plan, manage and ultimately ensure successful delivery. The role will report to the Head of Data and Analytics and will work closely with the rest of the team. The Data and Analytics team at Southern Water exists to help the organisation make its data work for our customers, employees, community and environment by helping us make the best decisions, make us more efficient in delivering our outcomes and driving the future of the industry through the use of AI and intelligent automation.

- Data Products (including business intelligence, analytics, machine learning and AI)

- Enterprise Data Governance
Skills and Experience. We are looking for someone with proven skills in product and programme delivery, with a track record of organising teams and initiatives to ensure regular and consistent delivery of high quality products.
Ideal experience:
- Experience working in a Data and Analytics, Digital or IT function
- Experience delivering in agile methods such as Scrum
- Experience working with senior line of business stakeholders
- Experience interfacing with technical colleagues to manage dependencies
- Experience working in a pressured and exciting environment with sometimes contending priorities
Qualities The role will involved working with a wide range of stakeholders from C-level down, and including technical, operational and corporate stakeholders so will require good communication skills. The role will require a highly proactive and autonomous individual able to set not only their own workloads but also lead the rest of the team in managing their deliveries and dependencies. We also look for highly curious people in the Data and Analytics team who are motivated by solving problems together and applying rigorous analysis to challenges!
