Summary: The role involves supporting an Internal Audit function by extracting, cleansing, and analyzing large datasets to identify control weaknesses, anomalies, and trends that inform audit findings and recommendations. The position is based in London and is offered as a fixed-term contract. Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, cleanse, and analyze large datasets to identify control weaknesses, anomalies, and trends.
- Support the Internal Audit function with data-driven insights.
- Translate audit objectives into analytical workstreams.
- Present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Utilize AI tooling within audit or analytics workflows.
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience applying data analytics in an audit, risk, or compliance setting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, KNIME, Alteryx, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Working knowledge of control frameworks and/or risk-based methodologies.
- Experience in financial services or another regulated environment.
- Demonstrable use of AI tooling within audit or analytics workflows.
