Summary: The Data Analyst - Tableau Specialist role is a contract position focused on developing and designing reports and dashboards in Tableau for a Greenfield project. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in Tableau and SQL, with responsibilities including migrating reports to a Snowflake Data Warehouse. The position allows for significant influence over project direction and requires excellent data visualization skills. The role is remote with occasional visits to the Central London office for workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design reports and dashboards in Tableau.
- Update existing dashboards as part of Data Warehouse migration.
- Data cleansing, preparation, and modeling using DBT or AWS Athena.
- Gather requirements and translate them to business needs.
- Utilize cloud infrastructure knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
- Manage IT assets effectively.
- Implement version control practices.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in Tableau with strong data visualization and design skills.
- Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Familiarity with DBT and AWS cloud technologies, particularly Lambda, S3, and Athena.
- Version control experience, preferably with GIT.
- Experience in managing IT assets.
