Summary: The Data Analyst - Tableau Specialist role involves working on a Greenfield project, focusing on developing and designing dashboards in Tableau while migrating reports to a Snowflake Data warehouse. The position requires strong expertise in Tableau and SQL, along with data visualization skills, to cater to approximately 350-400 dashboard users. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence project direction and will be expected to engage in data cleansing and preparation tasks. This is a contract position with remote working arrangements and occasional visits to the Central London office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design reports and dashboards in Tableau
- Update existing dashboards as part of Data Warehouse migration
- Data cleansing, preparation and modelling using DBT or AWS Athena
- Requirement gathering and translating to business needs
- Cloud Infrastructure knowledge will be a big advantage for this role
- Experience of managing IT Assets would be a big advantage for this role
- Version Control experience will be very beneficial
- GIT experience will be very nice to have
Key Skills:
- Tableau expertise with strong Data Visualisation and design skills
- Power BI experience
- Proficiency with SQL, Snowflake and DBT
- Familiarity with AWS or other equivalent cloud technologies, in particular Lambda, S3, Athena
- Excellent commercial Tableau experience
- Excellent commercial SQL experience
- Snowflake experience
