Summary: The Data Analyst (ServiceNow CMDB) role involves collaborating with stakeholders to populate the ServiceNow system, focusing on the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to support company separation. The position requires data extraction, validation, and mapping, along with independent research on equipment model data. The analyst will also support the Service Management team in ensuring data accessibility for ITSM processes. This role is primarily remote with occasional office attendance in London and is set to last until the end of December 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to generate data for the ServiceNow system, focusing on CMDB.
- Extract data from various systems and spreadsheets, mapping it into appropriate templates.
- Validate data against existing model data in the ServiceNow CMDB.
- Conduct independent research on equipment model data.
- Support mapping of CMDB data to other ServiceNow data elements and organizational structures.
- Collaborate with the Service Management team to ensure successful data uploads into ServiceNow.
- Provide data analysis support to other workstreams as needed.

Brief
- Work with stakeholders across the business to generate data to populate the ServiceNow system to support company separation, with a focus on CMDB, referencing other sources where required.
- Extract data from a range of systems and spreadsheets. Map the data into appropriate templates, developing new templates where required. Validate the data against existing model data (and other data) in the ServiceNow CMDB.
- Conduct additional independent research where necessary, with a specific focus on equipment model data.
- Support the mapping of CMDB data to other ServiceNow data elements and organisational structures.
- Work with the Service Management team to ensure that data is successfully uploaded into ServiceNow and is accessible for company information purposes and ITSM processes.
- Provide occasional data analysis support to other workstreams.
