Summary: The Data Analyst role focuses on supporting security projects and managing SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) tools. The position requires a blend of data analysis, security insight, and cloud knowledge to enhance SaaS resilience and risk management. The analyst will work closely with security teams to track key risk and control indicators while creating visual reports. This role is based in Guildford with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring on-site presence twice a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and interpret security-related datasets from SaaS, cloud, and internal systems.
- Build and maintain administrative controls to strengthen SaaS security posture.
- Work with SSPM tools to monitor coverage, effectiveness, and compliance of SaaS environments.
- Partner with security and assurance teams to track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Control Indicators (KCIs).
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports (Power BI, Excel) to visualise SaaS posture and control performance.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst on security or risk projects.
- Hands-on exposure to SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM).
- Strong data analysis skills - able to query, map, and interpret complex datasets.
- Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, or other visualisation tools.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with defining and monitoring KRIs and KCIs.
- Strong communication skills to present findings to both technical and business stakeholders.
