Summary: My client in Greater London is seeking a skilled Data Analyst on a contract basis to support the Programme Director and Programme Manager in delivering the organization's new operating model. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, applying analytical skills to provide insights, and preparing reports and dashboards. The position requires extensive experience in a similar role, particularly within local government or public services. The working arrangement is hybrid, and the role is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with cross-functional corporate and service directorate teams to support engagement and project delivery
- Applying analytical skills to deliver objective, impactful, and actionable insights
- Preparing dashboards, presentations, and reports to effectively communicate insights
- Providing subject matter expertise coaching and support to non-technical colleagues
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience in a similar role
- Experience in an analytical role in local government and/or public services with knowledge of data systems and processes
- Familiarity with local government datasets
- Experience with programming languages such as R/Python and querying languages such as SQL
- Proficiency in standard BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- Local Authority experience is essential

- Salary: £500 per day, inside IR35
