Your Team and Role:

This role sits within the investment management arm of the business which is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in their technology and integrations team. This opportunity offers you the chance to work at the heart of a major transformation programme, supporting seamless data flows between legacy systems and new strategic solutions. You will be instrumental in ensuring high-quality data, troubleshooting issues, and driving improvements that directly impact business success.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and manage data integration processes between legacy systems and new strategic solutions.
• Monitor and optimize data flows to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with IT, development teams, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data integration processes, data flows, and system interfaces.
• Identify and resolve data-related issues promptly to minimise disruptions.
• Define and manage test strategies, including the creation of test plans and scripts, coordinating integration activities, and ensuring comprehensive requirements traceability.
• Document the current state, propose outcomes, and contribute to the design of target data models that support new platforms and processes.

What you bring:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst or System Analyst within investment management is essential for understanding industry-specific challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct complex data interrogations using SQL ensures you can extract valuable insights from large datasets
• Hands-on proficiency with ETL tools, data warehousing concepts, legacy systems as well as modern data platforms enables effective integration work
• Knowledge of Order Management Systems such as Bloomberg, Charles River or Aladdin is highly beneficial
• Familiarity with API integrations and web services
• Strong analytical skills paired with keen attention to detail empower you to identify trends or anomalies quickly within complex datasets.
• Experience using BI tools like Tableau or Power BI helps communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills enable you to convey complex concepts simply when engaging with diverse stakeholders.
