Summary: The Performance and Analysis Officer role at Reed Secure involves conducting complex quantitative data analysis and developing performance reporting products for MOPAC. This interim position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to monitor performance and contribute to national debates on crime and policing. The role also includes line management responsibilities and project management tasks. The position is based in Southwark, London, with minimal office visits required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and quality assure complex quantitative data analysis, including big data analysis and statistical modelling.
- Develop and maintain performance analysis and reporting products, such as data dashboards.
- Write and conduct presentations to communicate findings effectively.
- Manage projects and assess risks associated with performance analysis.
- Oversee work and develop staff through line management responsibilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues across MOPAC and MPS to monitor performance against the Police and Crime Plan.
- Contribute evidence to national debates on crime and policing performance management.
- Support the development of national policy on crime and policing through data provision.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in designing and building Power BI dashboards.
- Practical experience with Power BI, including data cleansing and visualisation.
- Experience in leading projects involving data visualisation and dashboard creation.
- Ability to present complex data and insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Experience working collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of data modelling and manipulation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills.
