Summary: The Data Analyst role involves supporting an ongoing transformation program by executing ETL processes and ensuring data quality assurance. The position requires collaboration with various teams to maintain high data standards and assist in user acceptance testing. Candidates must be locally based in Cincinnati, as the role typically requires 2-3 days per week on-site. The position is contract-based and offers a competitive hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Transformation Managers and Business Unit Finance and Operations teams to execute ETL tasks across multiple legal entities.
- Support data validation efforts, focusing on cleansing and maintaining high data quality standards.
- Assist in user acceptance and regression testing to ensure data integrity and functionality post-implementation.
- Foster strong relationships with users to facilitate change management initiatives.
- Provide first-line hypercare support during go-lives, troubleshooting data-related issues.
- Assist in the implementation and execution of standard operating procedures for data management.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive audit files related to data during the migration process.
- Develop performance monitoring tools and reports to track data quality metrics.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or a minimum of 2 years in data analysis with a focus on ETL processes and data cleansing.
- Proficient in advanced Excel capabilities and data manipulation; experience with data integration tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical reasoning skills to identify data issues and recommend solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex data insights.
- A flexible and enthusiastic approach to collaborative work.
- Ability to translate complex data processes for diverse stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
