Summary: The Data Analyst role based in Salford Quays, Manchester, involves supporting a transformation and decommissioning project within Digital & Technology for a multinational high-street retailer. The position is hybrid, requiring two days per week onsite, and is contracted for a duration of 10 weeks. The role focuses on data cleansing and validation, ensuring data accuracy and integrity for project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- To clean data and seek validation from Product or Application Owners on the accuracy and integrity of the data.
- Validation against Apptio and the portfolio of projects and programmes.
- Data cleansing will be based on specified groups (e.g., by capability, but to be determined).
- Once each group has been data cleansed and approved, communications will be sent out to the required stakeholders to enable roadmap designs and confirm the decommissioning status and plan.
- A communications plan will identify how to ensure all stakeholders are clear on their respective actions.
Key Skills:
- Strong background in data analysis (1-4 years' experience)
- High level Excel competency
- Experience working in large, matrix organisations beneficial
- Strong communication skills required - ability to work with stakeholders
