Summary: The Data Analyst role focuses on leading the migration of HR data from legacy systems to Workday, ensuring data accuracy and compliance throughout the process. The position requires collaboration with HR, IT, and external partners, particularly in the EMEA region, to facilitate data transformation and governance. The successful candidate will leverage their experience in HRIS data migration and analytics to support the implementation of Workday. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the extraction, cleansing, mapping, and reconciliation of HR and organisational data into Workday.
- Collaborate with HR teams and regional stakeholders to map Legacy data sources to Workday's data model.
- Use Excel and ETL tools such as CloverDX for test loads and mock conversions.
- Conduct data audits and validations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot load issues and work with SMEs and system integrators to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain clear documentation of data migration rules, mapping logic, and transformation scripts.
- Partner with regional HR teams to coordinate data collection efforts across countries and brands.
- Liaise with external Workday consultants to align on conversion timelines and testing outcomes.
- Contribute to data-related activities across SIT, UAT, and go-live cutover.
Key Skills:
- 3-5+ years in HRIS data migration or HR analytics, preferably with at least one full Workday implementation.
- Proven experience with Workday data loading using EIBs, data templates, and configuration loads.
- Deep understanding of HR master data structures (e.g., employee data, org structures, job profiles, compensation).
- Ability to analyse and manipulate complex datasets with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, Power Query, and data validation.
- Experience with CloverDX or other ETL/data transformation platforms.
- Experience working in a global business with complex organisational structures.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Data Migration & Data Analyst to join our global Workday implementation team. This role will be critical in ensuring the successful migration of HR data from Legacy platforms (Predominantly Payroll, Learning and Finance) to Workday, helping to lay the foundation for global consistency, data accuracy, and ongoing system success. You will work closely with Flight Centre's HR, IT, and external Workday partners across multiple regions, however focusing on the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Migration & Transformation
Lead the extraction, cleansing, mapping, and reconciliation of HR and organisational data into Workday. Collaborate with HR teams and regional stakeholders to map Legacy data sources to Workday's data model. Use Excel and other ETL tools such as CloverDX to perform test loads and mock conversions, and play a critical role during the final conversion for cutover to production
Data Quality & Reconciliation
Conduct data audits and validations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Troubleshoot load issues and work with SMEs and system integrators to resolve discrepancies. Reconcile Workday loads with Legacy system reports across employee, position, job, and pay data.
Documentation & Governance
Maintain clear documentation of data migration rules, mapping logic, and transformation scripts. Support governance by helping define data standards, ownership, and best practices. Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with regional HR teams to coordinate data collection efforts across countries and brands. Liaise with external Workday consultants to align on conversion timelines and testing outcomes. Contribute to data-related activities across SIT, UAT, and go-live cutover.
Required Skills & Experience:
