Summary: The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with the Senior Data & Insights Manager to provide actionable insights from a comprehensive moviegoer database to clients in the film industry. This role involves supporting global clients in measuring marketing impacts and improving audience targeting. The position is a full-time, initial 6-month fixed-term contract that may extend to 12 months, emphasizing collaboration with various teams to deliver analytics consulting services. The Data Analyst will also generate insights into movie audience behavior for clients and the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with client success, data science, and engineering teams to provide insight and analytics consulting services to clients.
- Work directly with studio clients, their agencies, and 3rd party platforms to develop and deliver research and measurement solutions.
- Build, maintain, and execute scripts and pipelines for marketing campaigns and audience reports.
- Design, build, and troubleshoot client-facing dashboards and reporting.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to business customers and leadership.
- Support client-facing teams in creating insights-driven presentations and white papers.
Key Skills:
- 3 years' experience working with business stakeholders to translate data and business needs.
- Experience building ETL pipelines to compute performance metrics and drive dashboards.
- Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills.
- Direct experience with social and digital platforms such as Meta, Amazon, and Google.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy preferred).
- Knowledge of statistical testing methodologies.
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI preferred).
- Experience with cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Experience working with large datasets and distributed data processing technologies (Spark, DuckDB, etc.).
