Summary: The Data Analyst role based in London involves collaborating with various teams to enhance data models and support the RCMS project on the Salesforce platform. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and technical teams to align business needs with target data models.
  • Reverse-engineer and simplify complex Salesforce object/field landscapes, identifying redundancies and inefficiencies.
  • Conduct workshops with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather and refine data requirements.
  • Define target data models, perform gap analysis, and assess business impacts of proposed changes.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, taxonomies, and reference/master data repositories with governance controls.
  • Support data lineage documentation and ensure consistency across upstream and downstream systems.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in data modelling (3NF, Star/Snowflake, Data Vault 2.0).
  • Hands-on experience with data modelling tools such as Erwin, PowerDesigner, or Sparx EA.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce data architecture and data remediation.
  • Proven track record in creating and maintaining data dictionaries, taxonomies, and reference data.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.
  • Experience with data warehouses/lakehouses, ETL/ELT tools, and data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA DMBOK).
