Summary: The Data Analyst – Tableau Specialist role involves designing and developing dashboards and reports using Tableau, with a focus on data visualization and analytics. The position is part of a greenfield initiative, requiring collaboration with business stakeholders to establish reporting standards and enhance user experience. The contract is for six months and is classified as inside IR35, with occasional visits to Central London for workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop impactful dashboards and reports using Tableau.
- Refactor and migrate existing Tableau reports to a Snowflake data warehouse.
- Cleanse, model, and prepare data using DBT or AWS Athena.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical outputs.
- Contribute to best practices in dashboard design and user experience.
- Support version control and asset management processes related to BI solutions.
Key Skills:
- Proven expertise in Tableau with strong data visualization and dashboard design skills.
- Solid commercial experience in SQL.
- Experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud-based data warehouses.
- Understanding of DBT, Power BI, and general data modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and Athena.
- Version control experience; Git knowledge is highly desirable.
- Previous experience managing IT Assets is advantageous.
