Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver data analysis and reporting to support operational, security, and compliance functions
  • Engage with business and technical stakeholders to gather data requirements and communicate findings
  • Maintain and improve Power BI dashboards that track KPIs, audit performance, and security metrics
  • Monitor and manage queries related to data, performance, and compliance tracking
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through thorough validation and quality control
  • Support audit activity through structured reporting and documentation of key evidence
  • Handle sensitive and confidential data in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in a Data Analyst
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data cleaning)
  • Proficient in Power BI for data visualisation and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large, complex datasets in a structured and repeatable manner
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret and explain data to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Highly organised with a methodical approach to work and strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities

My client, one of the UK's leading producers of zero-carbon electricity, is seeking a skilled and detail-driven Data Analyst to support their analytics, reporting, and compliance functions. This role is ideal for a data professional with experience in cybersecurity, audit, or regulatory environments who is ready to apply their expertise to support business-critical operations and data-driven decision-making.
