Summary: The Workforce & Location Strategy Data Analytics Specialist at Synechron will lead the creation of a decision support model to optimize global workforce and location strategies. This role requires expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and business intelligence, with a focus on HR metrics. The specialist will collaborate with senior leadership to provide actionable insights that enhance operational efficiency and workforce planning. Strong communication skills and proficiency in data tools are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy decision support models utilizing BI tools, Excel, Python, SQL, and other relevant technologies.
  • Aggregate, clean, and analyze diverse data sources, including HR data (recruitment, attrition, performance, demographics), operational metrics, and historical trends.
  • Identify critical variables and scenarios influencing location decisions, such as headcount distributions, role performance, age profiles, and productivity metrics.
  • Construct data-driven frameworks to evaluate various location options, consolidations, and workforce strategies.
  • Provide objective, evidence-based insights to support senior leadership discussions, minimizing subjective biases.
  • Document variables, assumptions, and scenarios to ensure transparency and reproducibility of models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and relevance.
  • Stay informed on the latest best practices in data analytics, HR metrics, and location strategy.
  • Develop compelling visualizations and reports tailored for executive decision-makers, demonstrating the value of insights derived from analytics.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, HR Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing decision support models, predictive analytics, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools/languages, including Excel, Python, SQL, and BI platforms such as Power BI.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with complex, often intangible HR and operational data sets.
  • Experience in workforce planning, HR analytics, or location strategy is highly desirable.
