Summary: The role of Data Analyst involves supporting a public sector organization in Glasgow with an ERP project focused on data migration. The position requires collaboration with various departments to assess and clean existing data, ensuring its quality and compliance with governance policies. The analyst will also assist in data mapping and User Acceptance Testing to facilitate a smooth transition to new systems. This contract position is critical for the organization's growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the organisations departments to understand data requirements and reporting needs.
- Assess, clean, and validate existing data for migration into the new ERP and RMS systems.
- Identify inconsistencies, duplicates, and data quality issues, providing recommendations for resolution.
- Support data mapping activities between Legacy systems and new SaaS platforms.
- Assist in developing and executing data migration strategies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating migrated data and identifying discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and retention policies within a regulated environment.
Key Skills:
- Experience in data analysis and data migration projects.
- Strong understanding of ERP and RMS systems.
- Proficiency in data cleaning and validation techniques.
- Ability to identify and resolve data quality issues.
