Summary: The Data Analyst role involves extracting, analyzing, and presenting data from complex databases for a large public body. The role is hybrid and based in Newtownards, initially for a 3-month period with potential for extension. Key Responsibilities:
- Extract data from complex databases/datasets using analysis and query tools.
- Analyse, interpret, and present complex statistical information from a range of systems and sources.
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Teams) to manage and present data.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Plan and organize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
Key Skills:
- 4 years’ experience in data extraction, analysis, and presentation from complex databases/datasets using analysis and query tools.
- OR Diploma for Accounting Technicians (ATI) or equivalent (Level 5 qualification) with 2 years’ experience in data extraction, analysis, and presentation.
- OR An honours degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Information Technology, or other relevant discipline.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs.
- Hold a current full driving licence valid for use in the UK and have access to a car upon appointment.
