Summary: Our client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in Data Governance to join their team on a contract basis in Belfast. The role involves evaluating complex issues, collaborating with end users, and executing Data Lineage while ensuring alignment with the enterprise Data Governance roadmap. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder needs effectively. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement with three days on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with end users to define and integrate processes that align with the enterprise Data Governance roadmap and Data Risk and Control framework.
• Execute Data Lineage, including the collection of interface and database details, ensuring efficient upload and maintenance for reuse and visualisation.
• Provide technical expertise to facilitate the design, development, and implementation of complex projects.
• Review and assess the work of colleagues, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
• Utilise your understanding of business analysis concepts to resolve issues and contribute to enterprise-wide policy recommendations.

Key Skills:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or a related field.
• Strong project management and business analysis skills.
• Proven experience with large-scale Data Lineage programmes.
• Ability to anticipate and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders while managing tight deadlines and unexpected changes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
