Summary: The Data Analyst role focuses on creating and enhancing impactful dashboards for a financial services client in Edinburgh. The position requires a proactive individual to ensure dashboards are accurate and aligned with strategic goals while also delivering training to build team capabilities. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders and the implementation of automated data connections. This hybrid position allows for two days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and refine dashboards in response to stakeholder feedback, ensuring outputs feed directly into executive reporting
- Produce tailored reports for each member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
- Extract, prepare, and format reports for embedding into SharePoint, in line with established design and brand guidelines
- Design and develop new Power BI reports to meet the evolving needs of Business Operations, Resource Management, and the PMO
- Lead and deliver an upskilling programme on Power BI for permanent team members to enhance self-service reporting capability
- Work closely with Technology teams to implement automated connections between dashboards and centralised, trusted data sources
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst delivering dashboard development using Power BI
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to train and upskill team members
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and coordinating with IT/technology stakeholders

We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Data Analyst to join our financial services client's Strategy & Innovation team. In this key role, you will design, enhance, and transition high-impact dashboards into the hands of business users, ensuring they are accurate, insightful, and aligned with the organisation's strategic goals.
